Good job. Came out really nice. That big *** rear drum brake really sticks out like a sore thumb tho. I prolly would have kept it black. Other than that

I like the look of my orange brakes :P ... I am considering black though as I am kinda going for the "blacked out" theme.

nice i have some cosmetic stuff to do too but i'm not so experienced in body work did you have to do any welding on that rear corner panel? =[. I've heard good and bad things about the plastidip, but it looks great. Congrats.

There was no welding involved, we cut some metal and used Z Grip body filler to cover it all up and fix dents, etc.

Got the Rexpeed CF armrest and ebrake handle only to find out the armrest doesn't fit our lancer. Can't decide if having a CF armrest is worth losing the extra storage space in the center console; might buy a evo armrest console so I can use the CF armrest. Pics tommorow of the ebrake handle, love it!

Edit for pic:

I've been really looking around for how people's plastidip turned out and I have to say I'm pretty amazed, whats the time frame from start to finish on something like that?

Thanks, I definitely want to turbo this little banger but I need to get a job first and all the time I have to spend for college really gets in the way of that .

It took me about 7 hours total from prep to cleaning. I would say about 2 to 3 hours was prepping the garage and car and then cleaning up after. The paint only takes about 10 to 20 minutes to dry before you can put on another coat. I did about 6 coats.

If you have any further questions I would check out www.dipmycar.com tons of fellow dippers on there.
