How to installe evo 8 spoiler onto 06 RA?
hi , like titles states, can someone show me steps by steps how to install the spoiler please? another thing i would like to know that if have to make an extra hole to install the evo 8 spoiler? or just simply use the 3 holes on the trunk and it will be strong enough to hold the spoiler? thanks...

are we talking a real evo8 spoiler or aftermarket one?
i did one with a real evo8 spoiler, 2 holes line right up, and you have to drill 2 new holes. its an easy process i did it in about 1hr.
be careful removing the 2 nuts, if your not careful you can and will loose them inside the trunk, and youll have to take the trunk lid off.

I used an aftermarket 8 spoiler and its the same 2/ 4 holes line up but i just took out the screws in the wing and made new holes in the wing so it lined up that way i didnt have to drill my trunk, but like he said i had a nut in my trunk lid for like 4 months before it finally came out on its own...insanely annoying.

Sorry guys for the late post. But how do you guys make the holes. Is there a particular way of doing it.
Also how do you compensate for the third light that is on the stock spoiler. Do you know parts that can be used as the third break light.
Thanks

put the spoiler on some paper pieces and trace out the footprint. Cut the paper. Flip the spoiler over, put the paper footprint cut-outs on the bottom of the spoiler legs, and trace out the bolt holes.
Then put the paper "feet" on the trunk where they should go and mark where the bolt hole centers are with a marker or pencil onto the trunk. Punch this mark with a sharp punch to start your drill bit accurately.
I got a used third brake light from an old Taurus, for inside the rear window on the parcel shelf, from a wrecking yard pick-em for $2. Or you can order a nice one from Amazon.ca for cheap too.
