2004 mitsubishi lancer ralliart 2.4l sohc

I need help with my lancer ralliart. I replaced the cam sensor plugs wires alternator starter cleaned injectors replaced mfi relay and can only run on starter fluid. Checked to see if injectors were spitting and they do andw it's getting fuel. I can't figure out why it won't start help me PLEASE!!!!

so it will only run with starter fluid, but you're getting fuel? I'm assuming if it runs on starter spray, you must be getting spark, unless it's just dieseling on the starter spray. any other symptoms? might not be a bad idea to verify you have spark.


also did you change all those parts to try and fix the problem, or did the problem arise after changing these parts?

whoa, would have been way cheaper to take it to the dealer for analysis before spending all that cash on guesswork.

Well we got the car running. There was really dirty gas in the fuel pump and lines it was almost like mud lol. But now we have a bigger problem. The car blew a huge hole in the front end of the block. Now I need a new bare block. Any suggestions for a super cheap block?

There's 2 holes one in the front of the block by the timing belt and one in the back in the same place the timing belt snapped and that caused it to blow

No we got it started and drove around for a few hours and pulled out of the parking lot and gave it some gas and it just blew up in the middle of the road lol. Now we need a new block for a 2.4l mi-vec sohc lol this **** sucks

two questions, how'd you get it started? and how many miles on the timing belt?
