you will need to get a lot of different grit sandpaper, probably 800, 1500, then 2000 or something like that. its a long multistep process.
start by taping off around the headlights with painters tape so you dont scratch your paint. then grab a water hose and start wet sanding your headlights with 800 grit sandpaper. do long strokes, dont push too hard. once you finish with the 800, the whole headlight will be foggy, move onto the 1500, repeat. 2000, repeat.
then you need to grab some plastic polisher, and something to polish with. I use plastx and a rotary power tool with polishing pad. and polish e headlight. it should come out clean and clear!
caution though, dont sand too much cause then youll sand through your headlight. and if the scratches are deep then it will probably wont come out. of if uv damage is too much, that wont come all the way out either.
good luck!

Just restored my headlight lenses today using the Turtle Wax kit. It's pretty much Hummingbird stated with the wet-sanding. Very simple and easy, took me about 45 minutes total and my lights are nice and bright again.
