Engine/Transmission mounting solutions

Just a heads up...Ziggy @ RTM Racing and I are working on a design/solution for a rear roll stopper that would be a solid aluminum bracket with a solid urethane bushing...if anyone has or can get close up pictures of the rear roll stopper, as well as the mounting points front and rear of the steering rack it could help move the process along...any measurements you think may be helpful that you can get would be greatly appreciated...thanks

I'll be working on it as well, but every bit of help we can get is progress!

Something else you guys should look into is some hunks of rubber to put inbetween the springs to eliminate wheel hop at the drag strip..

the issue isn't so much wheel hop as it is destroying rear mount after rear mount, using a solid front mount...

I tried the filling method and it failed...and I will never buy RRM mounts...if Ziggy and I are unsuccessful, I will go back to filling stock mounts...

What were you filling the mounts with? I used flexane 80 on the rear mount and its solid as hell. It's held up now for 6 months or so I believe without any cracks.

a new mount and bushing...the bracket on the tranny is a nice point of failure...i'd rather break 10 of those, than crack the transmission case
