Once the car is warmed up, I can plug the MAF back up to the car and it will stay running in clsd loop. but then I get the P0171 CEL again. The fuel trims are way high also.... I got it running pretty well today but it sounded like it had a cam lope, which is a typical sign of a bad EGR solenoid. Going to take it out and clean it tonight, and try that tomorrow. Running out of options with this car....If I can't get this motor fixed, I'm thinking 4g63 swap and bullet holes through the 4g69..... Here are some other videos to help

What Crans said^

Check your fuel pump. When was the last time you inspected the spark plugs and coilpacks?

Replaced the plugs checked the coil packs those are fine. I have tore the fuel pump out once already and rebuilt it. Still lean super lean with high idle afterwards. Will check fuel pump again tonight.

Well the question is are you getting proper spark and or fuel? Check your injectors?

refresh my memory, did this just happen out of the blue, or did something happen? did you work on any electrical with the battery connected?

This may be a stupid question but have you checked how much voltage is going to your fuel pump? I'm running back and forth between your first thread and this one trying to figure out what is happening lol.

Did you ever get that compression test done on the cylinders?
Any chance that you're wiring harness is just toast?

Checked the harness everything looks to be in order. Compression is good, going to buy a new fuel pump and put that in probably today. Going with something bigger.... Injectors, seem to be good. I think I'm going to put a permanent fuel pressure gauge in the car, after putting a new pump in. I had it running well once "stayed running decent for a week or so" after I took the old fuel pump out cleaned and rebuilt everything. I'm betting on the pump or pressure regulator... If those don't work then I am just going to beef up the whole fuel system. Rail/Injectors/Pump. If that doesn't cure it, then I am replacing the EGR and Solenoid.

Who ever had this car before me new it had problems for sure, and its probably the reason they sold it...

why would you "beef up" the fuel system? there's no need, and you'll have to scale the injectors.

oh well yeah...obviously...lol, sorry I didn't know you were planning on that...I've just heard a lot of people say they were going to drop in a walbro 255, and bigger injectors because they think adding fuel with adding air, and no tuning makes power somehow...
