hey guys how's it going?...so here's the issue I bought an 04 lancer ralliart for 550$ guy said motor was seized, well couple days later I take the oil pan down to find hundreds of pieces of the connecting rod and bearing strewn throughout it. and sadly there are two holes in the block from whatever this **** head did to it.


that being said looking for a new motor the cheapest I've found is $725, do you guys know if the 2.4L 4g69 will work with any 2.4L? say out of and outlander or eclipse or gallant? keep in mind mine is a MIVEC 2.4L (not sure if they all were).


so any information would be great to have also keep in mind I live in maine.

Any 2.4L 4g69 engine from 2006-2012 eclipse gs, 2003-2006 outlander, or 2004-2012 galant will work. Just be mindful that some models may overlap and be available with the 4g64 which is a non-mivec 2.4L. Avoid the 4g64. There are some minor differences with exhaust manifolds intakes and oil pans, but they are all the same.
