Stock header dress-up...

Has anyone painted or polished their stock headers/manifold after removing that heat shield? If so, post some pics and tell how they did it!

that would be interesting to see, but if anything i would wait till i got a real header, therefore you wouldnt have to polish it

i dont think it will polish up well. its cast, right? even if u coat it well, with the high heat it would prob oxadize through eventually (maybe after a year or 2, but would still happen)

its stainless just get it ceramic coated cheap and looks good. ot just got turbo

I don't think its stainless. They all look rusted after a few months to me. I would just paint it with Dupli-color 1200 degree ceramic paint. It will have a dull look to it but its better than stock.
