Realtime digital readouts of mpg

Is there anything aftermarket that does that?

On the same topic - yeah, I had this idea of getting some sort of LCD display to go into that useless gauge circle that contains the seatbelt light, hooked up to some sort of computer calculating live/overall fuel usage, oil temp, fuel used per trip... whatever other stuff people can come up with. I have no idea how doable that is, I just thought of it one day as a cool thing to have. Anybody here have any experience with something like this?

That one is pretty cool, yeah, I wonder how easy it will be to make a custom display for it.

It looks like it comes with just an electrical input, so I'm guessing it takes reading from the ECU.

Small criticism... it doesn't look all that cool either. Has lots of functionality, but could use a cleaner display IMO.

Digging up an old thread rather than starting a new one. Can anyone confirm if these units work in the RA's? (2.4L MIVEC)
Apparently the RA is non CAN-BUS compliant and will not provide full functionality.
