Kind of a tangential question, but why couldn't I find an official 1/4 mile thread with timeslip pics as proof? The Elantra forum that I come from had one! I won't be able to say what I can get out of my RA until the spring, but I had my Elantra running a 15.975@85.22mph (so in reality a 16.0@85) on a poor quality track with just a CAI, I hope to run a lot faster with the RA.

That's impossible to do. If you and another car accelerate as fast as you can next to each other until you reach the speed limit it is still considered a contest of speed which is illegal. Keep it on the track.

Yes, actually. Tickets can be issued for unnecessary acceleration.

I know I made a comment that we missed this thread. Thanks for listening!

I might make some Ralliart Vs. 06 Eclipse GS comments since I own both.

As long as you did it at a track Jesse, then I would like to read about it.

Ralliart > Eclipse GS

Same power, but the ralliart weighs 400lbs less.. easy win, I know personally.

Hard for me to race myself at the track. My skill has increased but I havent yet mastered the ability to drive two cars at once on the street or on the track. Since I own both cars I could do a fair review without talking about racing directly.

One Friday night at the drag track with the Ralliart, next week the Eclipse. Bring both cars to a AutoX and run them both on the same course. That would make for an interesting review.

That would produce quantifiable numbers in a legitimate environment to compare, I'm no saint on the street, but still I believe that if it isn't a legal racing venue, the results don't mean ****.
