welcome OTchie,
victoria, AU. i presume since its 2.4 in an ES (i have the same)
you dont lose any down low(not that i noticed - and i have auto) with SRI
but i also have the ud pulley to help aswell
also i just looked at the typhoon intake, looks good but dont think will work on us, it doesnt seem to have a MAF adapter(thing that our air flow sensor sits in - important)
i have RRM SRI and it is good
but depending how things go, for summer RPW said they were getting in some new CAI and will fit auto, so i might check them out if u wanna try and save on postage

yeah rpw and rrm are companies that specify to lancers so there stuff works great
if you go with RRM, buy it in bulk(ie, SRI, pulley and tie bar) coz i did that and they all work wonders

Im still undecided. Ive heard soo many myths about intakes. If i get a short ram I will figure a way out to fab up a heat sheild. Ive also heard of someone using the stock air box with a short ram some how. Im got the RRM pulley and PB on the way so it will be a week or soe before I order either

No problem at work, it was the dinner time ! .
So here's the first pic. We put off the stock air box. After that we cut the location of the MAF to the rest of the box...We made a custom heat shield that support the air filter too. Pic are not clear enough, but it will give you an idea of what I've done...
