I'd say a post not commented on for nearly 3 years is old! I find some of these threads pick up again when they get new posts. I understand your point on the Photoshop pics but they're coming be patient. Sweet! Post up some pics! Ive been wondering how it looks with the stock side skirts (if it hangs lower), and how much further it sticks out compared to stock.

It was not a direct fit in that it required some modifications of the existing mounting slots, and addition of new slots. Larger washers were required in some areas where I drilled the slot too big for the supplied washers. It was a hit and miss operation for me, but with patience, it came out acceptable. And, I will say, black FG might have been a better match to the OEM side and back effects. Overall it took about 2 hours. CF all around would be something to imagine, what do you think?

I'll post more pictures later...

that looks really good. How would you say it flows with the OEM side skirts? that was always my concern with that lip

Lol, I was at a gas station filling up when I was reading your response, so I stepped out and I used my Droid Razr as a measurement tool... the phone almost fits perfectly underneath the side skirt with about a eighth inch gap. Then I moved it up to the new carbon fiber lip and it fell short about a eighth inch, so about a quarter inch difference between the two. If you set your back end slightly higher than your front end it actually flows nicely down to the front. If I had a chance to do something different I probably would have gone with my first choice which was the fiberglass lip because it was all black, but I got suckered into the glamour and higher end carbon fiber! Believe me, as you can see, it doesn't look bad, but now I'm wanting everything to match. I'm starting to realize how horrible this modification game is, and that it never ends, lol! But, honestly, I really want the power, to backup this look, so the turbo has to come first. Now I have to somehow convince my wife to let me have last years income tax to finish!

Sorry guys, here are the correct measurements from the ground:

Side Skirt = 6"

Front Lip = 5"

Thanks for taking the time to measure it. So we're looking at about an inch difference? Maybe evo side skirts can fit and then put some rexpeed side skirt extensions?? just throwing some ideas, if I can pull that off, I would love to do that

This lip is a wonderful way to dress up your Lancer or Ralliart. Fitment and finish unbelievable.
RRM says this about the CF and FG lip, which leads me to deduce that they're referring to the sedan, for I had fitment issues, and a sportback isn't one of the options when ordering. So, I'd like to hear from a '04 - '06 sedan owner who has one, and their experience installing it.

Edit: Here's another option to bring the side skirts down an inch:

Looks like those are on an Evo...I guess one would have to confirm with grounddynamics about which 2002-2006 Lancer they are referring to.

Yeah those are for the evo but they can fit our cars. There was a Canadian yellow and black themed ralliart that had them along with a lot of other cosmetic work. I'll see if I can find it a post up

I've been looking at the 2X2 carbon fiber spats that are out there, and have been photoshopping them (front and rear) on to my vehicle. In my particular situation, it looks to be a good option to bring together the OEM side skirts with the new carbon fiber lip. I'm having a color match dilemma so I'm not going to post any photos,, but if somebody wants to, I will email them a side view of my car so they can do a better job in showing me what it would look like. From what I'm seeing at this point it looks to be a good match.

The evo cf side spats like what rexspeed sales, I'm sure you could mount it but it wouldn't sit flush with the sideskirt. The Evos side skirts are more flat than ours.

And heres a pic of the those veil side parts on the ralliart
