2004 ac problems
Okay I really need some help before I go out and spend unnecessary money on parts I don't need. So my ac has been fine until the last 2 days. It was blowing cold and now the compressor keeps turning on and off. But only stays on for alittle while. The stays off for awhile. Then turns on only for maybe a few secounds. The freon is at the level it should be. I checked power and wiggle the wires it's all good. Then the freon blew out of the valve on top of the compressor for alittle while then stopped. Also the ac fan stays on when it is turned on with the ac compressor unplugged. When I plug it back up it turns on and off with the compressor. Totally irritated and fustrated. I keep asking ac people and I get the run around. People where I live don't like mitsubishi

the compressor clutch sensor doohickey could be bad.It causes the stuff to turn on an off also... The AC light on the controller unit may blink also, but does not always happen. It senses the rotation of the compressor, and uses it to turn both the fan and compressor on. Just a thought, so don't hold it to an absolute...

I hope you don't mind me hijacking this thread, but while driving with the AC on I can feel the compressor cycling and the engine compensating for the sudden draw.
But the main problem I have is with the fact that when the car is turned on with AC on is that the vehicle will stall when trying to stop. Now this doesn't happen all the time. Usually in a couple minutes its fine again but the car also idles around 500 RPM with AC on. With it off it stays at 750, right where its supposed to be. Any ideas?

I had an A/C issue, turns out it was the wire to the low charge relay. I replaced the wire and I now have cool crisp A/C. FTMFWB!
