Running hot 🔥

During my most recent drives. I started to notice that the engine temperate goes up with the AC on and goes down with the AC off to normal half way temp levels. ( during driving and idle ). I checked underneath no coolant leaks , correct levels, no oil leaks , AC Blows cold.

Any thoughts ?

Looks like it needs the AC fan assembly. Dealer wants $405 plus installation. Does anyone/used any aftermarket fan assemblies ? Like the ones o reillys auto part sells

A/C condenser fan is $47 on rockauto.com...and it takes like 10 minutes to replace it. Are they sure the fan control module is working correctly?

Cool thanks. I will order one ASAP. It almost seems like the fan turns on and off intermediate. i might have to check the voltage of the module. The fan motor itself doesn't operate at the correct voltage.

if A/C is on, that fan should be running...the rad fan on the driver's side will turn on and off as it regulates engine temperature...

The fan doesn't turn on with the AC on at all. I ordered a fan from rockauto. Should be here Friday. While I'm there I will check the control module.

I did notice the fan spins at a really low rpm. I check the voltage/ direct connected to a 12v source and it barely spun up to operating speed and then it would just stop.

Here is the original one. Look at how ineffecient the mounting plate was. The motor was toasted.

This is the rock auto one 14inch fan. I double Checked the part numbers over and over. But I guess it's universal. It fit with removal of the upper radatior hose and a header shield bolt and it slide right it. As soon as I turned the AC on. Man does this thing cool.

It's just a fan, the important things are the connector being the same, and it not falling off, lol
