Attention Sportback Owners

Could one of you please take a picture and provide me the length of your rear window wiper arm/blade assembly. I'm assuming the previous owner removed it due to rot/not needing it (it was a California car). The dealer/online parts houses want +$60 for one and I'm too cheap to shell that out (the car is being fixed up for my niece). I asked the local dealership if any other Mitsubishi models used the same part and was told no. Hoping I can match something close from another make/model.

Unfortunately I need the complete wiper arm, not just the insert. My hope is I can find something simular from another car (maybe a Mini Cooper, etc.) that would work.

Just found your post. Did you solve your problem? Still need a photo?

I ended up using a Volvo 740 rear wiper arm that I got for $5 from a wrecking yard. Did the trick. The car is now with it's happy new owner (my niece). Thank you for the offer though.

That's likely a good choice. The rear wiper blades for the 04 sportback are expensive and hard to locate. Have you priced the Volvo wiper blade? Is is a standard size?

I have not, but it looks like a standard/regular style blade so it should be easy to get at a parts store.
