plus an even better way to get the holes fixed..is to weld in some blanks...then fill and sand and prime
(if you can weld...or know a welder...or pay somebody to weld it...)

It would be really hard to tack weld blanks in those rear holes... You would have to cut the supporting frame to do it....

Regardless, doing it this way is cost effective, and doesn't let your trunk rust out; that is why I suggested doing it this way, and why I did it that way on my own vehicle.
