Question about Evo IX rims on a Ralliart

Like the title says I was wondering if anyone knows if IX factory enkie's will fit on the ralliart without any problems I wanted to find out because i don't have tires on them so I really don't know if it'll rub or not, and I plan on giving it to my GF for her 05 ralliart..

no the rim/tires that you'll end up with is too wide.
PS: the search button can easily explain this.

They won't fit, the rims stick out too far. I do intend to find out, however, if they can be made to fit with rolling, since I have access to a fender roller. It'd be a cheaper way to upgrade to 17's.

Absolutely. Hell, I might figure it out tomorrow. All I need to do is throw on an Evo wheel and measure.

uh oh, otter is coming up with more swappable mitsu parts I'm moving this weekend, if anyone wants to buy me a beater I will turn my garage into a shop and have the car taken apart for research I read something about bushings the other day right

tire width is one of my biggest complaints on the car, right behind that stupid downpipe design that's not much to complain about though, in the big picture definitely post up what you find out otter, I remember some comments about only being able to roll so much so I think a "good luck" is in order here.

I'm a cheap bastard, I like finding ways to make other people's used parts work on my stuff. One issue, however, will be tire size. Evo wheels are 17x8. You can make a 215/40 tire fit on it, but it's not ideal. A 225/40 tire would be perfect, but it's an impossible size to find. That means that the other thing I'll be checking for is to see if it'd be possible to fit a 235/40 tire on the car.

As for rolling, yeah, I don't think we can roll too far. I could always cut off my fenders and rivet on some fender flares.

I tried rolling the back and mines are just about flat up until you hit the bumper mount part... That is the only part sticking out. Right now I have +42 17x7 rims running 225/45/17. Certain summer tires I cannot run in back without it rubbing that stupid bumper mount tab... Otherwise its fine. I also get a good amount of rub up front...

Between the 1/4 panel and the tire I have about an 3/4 of an inch to an inch of wheel gap... but that tab is about 1/2 in away... When i carry too much weight and i hit a heavy dip my tires rub the top of the wheel well... Not sure front or back though.
