RRM KYB Shocks

Is there a reason why the KYB replacement shocks on the RRM website is $439 when I see that I can get KYB GR-2's shocks on google shopping for less than $200? Are they different types??

That's just what RRM is charging. I doubt you're seeing a full set of 4 struts for less than $200, though.

Check for yourself. I searched "2004 Mitsubishi lancer ralliart shocks" and click shopping. The front shocks are like $110 and the rear are under $75. Unless I'm reading them wrong.

That's each 110 for one front you'll need 2 and 75 for one rear you'll need 2 cheaper than rrm but not 200 for a full set

Yeah, each, not per pair.

Instead of starting a new thread, I figured I would just extend this one. Does anyone know what the part # is for the rear KYB brand shocks. Different websites have different numbers. And some say that KYB doesn't make rear shocks compatible with our cars. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, so it's the same code for the euro Lancer. Great. I'm going to get them because the original fronts are leaking and making banging noises lol.
Do you kow how hard the ride is with them? Because i'm not going to be too happy if it makes my car feel soft and wobbly...

I can't compare it to the original shocks because I bought my car used and the shocks were already worn.. but the ride feels good and firm. Not soft or wobbly. I am surrounded by train tracks where I live, so I'd say I have tested the KYBs well and I am pleased for sure.

They feel pretty much exactly the same as the stock struts. They're OE equivalent replacements.
