a 205 will have a minor stretch on a 8" and with another 1/4 inch it's going to stretch even more. With my 215 on an 8" there's a very SLIGHT stretch but it looks nice in my opinion. A perfect size that would find on an 8" is a 225, but id have to roll your fenders and use huge spacers.

quoted buy the way

Hey guys it depends in the brand of tire you are using. Usually guys that want a nice decent stretch on an 8" rim will use federal or Falken tires because they run narrow. The size they usually use is a 205/40. Now with 8.5,9, or 10 they usually use a 215/40 to have a nice but not crazy stretch. Now if you want some crazy stretch like the diehard, hardcore hellaflush guys, they would run 195/40. I've even seen really crazy hardcore "it doesn't make sense to fit that size tire on that wide rim" , 165/35 and 185/35( but that's an imported tire because the US does not carry anything smaller then 195). The hardcore stretch guys will run 9"/10" width rims though with crazy camber. This is because they feel 8" is not wide enough.

LOL @ 165/35...i wouldn't think they would even make tires that small for even a 16" diameter...

depends on the offset and the length of your studs, and how flush you want to be...

you'll definitely need to roll your fender in the very least
