Tire size?!?!

so i bought a set of xxr 522s and there 17x8 with a 32 offset and i was wondering if i should get tires that are 205 40r 17 or 215 40r 17 ?
not sure which ones to buy so i was wondering what everyone else thought would fit best even with a little stretch.

215's for sure, with like a 35 profile, 40 might be too fat on 17's...

But will I was wondering if a 215/40/17 tire will have to be stretched
Because I was going for that look, even if it's a minimal stretch ?

If you're going for the stretch look I would recommend 205/40/r17! Those are the ones I have on my 17x7 wheels and i have a very little stretch...not the one I was looking for. And with a +38 offset it will allow more clearance for your fender to avoid rubbing issues! Even more if you're car is lowered.

the car is lowered on tein stechs and the wheels are 32 offset
However, ive been told that a 215 with give me a little bit of a stretch, is that true ?

probably not as much as you want. i have 17x8.25 with 215s and even that has just a SLIGHT stretch. probably wont notice it on the 8

bump bump bump. i was considering buyin these wheels, same specs (17x8 +35) and i was thinkin of putting on my current tires which are still fairly new (215/40/27). will it require some fender rolling to fit? im also lowered on stechs .

27? i think you're going to completely need a whole new suspension and completely chop the fender

and yes i'm pretty sure you'll need to roll fender

Any word on the fitting of those xxr's? Ive been wanting to buy some on my 06 ralliart, on tein springs. Just wondering if you had to roll the fenders or not, a simple answer will determine if i get the rims or not ^^.
