Yokohama S.Drive Opinions?

So I just sold my Falken Ziex ZE-512 Tires 215/35/18x7.5. I picked up a set of RA stock rims and am looking for a nice tire to mount on them. I am looking around the $100-120 range. The tire doesn't have to be good in the snow since I already have snow tires. My question is are Summer tires like the S.Drives good in rain? and do they last at all? I don't see a thread warranty on tire rack which kinda concerns me. Anyone have these tires? Opinions? Or is there something better for that price range? Only other tires I am looking at is the Goodyear Eagle's. About $100 on tire rack a piece. Thanks guys.

I have a set on the wifes mini S. They seem like pretty good tires, have good traction, dry and wet. I never tracked them but they give me the impression that they are better than the crappy all season Falkens on my evo.

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't a fan of my past Falken tires either.

I had them on my other lancer, they're not bad...but like anything else in that treadwear range, they don't have very good grip from a launch, but they perform well on a daily, and treadwear is decent.

I picked up the Conti ExtremeContact DWs for $84 apiece from TireRack when one of my Kumho Ecsta 4Xes committed suicide in my driveway. Still breaking them in, but the ride is smoother and there is NO hydroplaning even in heavy rain. Really impressed.

Did my normal 35 mile one-way commute on them this morning...I don't think I've ever encountered a performance tire this quiet. I couldn't hear them at all at 75mph.
