Will I rub w/ 17x8 35+

Hi, so I'm looking at some drag dr31 17x8 +47 with 195/40/17 and I am wondering if I buy this will it rub Or should i go with 17x7 +40? I'm into the stance look and I'm thinking 17x7 wouldn't stick out to much. I'm at stock height but i do plan on getting on bc coilovers in the future. Also I do want to stretch my tire just a little.

I want it to look something like this

I recently bought some 17x8 +38 rims, got em fitted with 205/40 tires. Only had em test fitted cause there's still a foot of snow on the ground here, but on stock suspension I was fine, my stretch is minimal, so a 195 would be pretty hefty on a 8". I think if you ran the +47's with a spacer you'd be fine.

Thank you. 195 is a little to much on an 8in wheel? i was thinking about getting some falken 512 because i heard they stretch pretty well.

205 is probably the stretch you are looking for if you're going to go with Falken 512's, here's a 512 in 205/40 over an 8"

They are much narrower than other tires, pretty much purpose built for the stance look.

That looks like a nice stretch. Ok I have decided to go with 205 all around. Do you know any other tires that will stretch as good or similar to the falken 512?

Falken 452, Falken 912, Nankang NS-2 and Nankang NS-1 all have fairly decent stretch from what I've seen, VW guys love falkens, and I've seen a few local subies running big wheels with Toyo's and Fuzion tires.

Hey man! i test fitted my wheels with spacers last week.. my wheels specs are 17x7+38 and it litteraly is inside of the fender..

I added 30mm spacer on one wheels on the back to sees how it fit, so with the spacer the wheels spec changed to 17x7+8 and here how it looks.

Really flush with the fender but once you drop it it goes inside, im looking to get the exact same fitment at the picture you posted so i choose a set of wheels in 16x9+20, this setup will stick out 13mm farther away of these picture.

Hope this will help you out
