06 RA Coilovers. Want to adjust at car shows to the ground.

Which is the best daily driver coilover that I can adjust to sit on the ground at car shows but ride at a decent height in the city. How hard is it to adjust myself? Which pair would you recommend.

you're thinking of air bag suspension...coilovers are adjustable, but it's not something you would do before and after a show...

Air bags would be nice but no I've seen people adjust there Coilovers before and after before. Just a lot of work. But I was interested in asking where I could fit my air ride suspension. If I had a custom trunk setup.

that would be a huge pain in the ***, you would need to bring a low profile floor jack and all the necessary tools with you, so I guess you'd put all that in the back seat since you have a custom trunk. But my question is not the point of a coilover system to achieve a desired "stance"? once that's achieved it should be left that way, and It should look good, so why would you adjust it lower just for a show? If it can't be driven on the street, then it's too low, besides, if it's got enough ground clearance to even fit low-profile jack under the car, then just leave it there...any lower would be stupid.

I don't know...there's a bunch of brands, and they're all really expensive.

Basically because I can't drive it super low around town but I like to have it look over the top at shows. Because half of the cars at HIN don't ever see the road. They are tailored in.

So what's a good pair of Coilovers I can buy for now that adjust very low. And are sturdy for my 2006 Ralliart.

I've used Meagan coils before on my ralliart and they seemed ok. easy to adjust

megan and tein are the most common I've seen...though the cheaper coilovers often do not offer adjustable damping.

For right now I'm going with Lowering Springs. Can u recommend a set that will fit nicely on my vehicle? The reason is because I might airbag it in the future

I'm on S-Techs, and the drop is moderate, and ride quality is pretty good

I have Tein S-Tech as well, can't go wrong with them!

The guys in PR might be a good resource; I think All-Motion Progress built this car...

I think if you want to "lay pan" air-ride and extensive rear tub/door work is required. I saw a build thread awhile back where the guy had to cut out the rear wheel well and modify the rear door to get maximum wheel travel using airbags. That might depend on the wheel and tire you go with.

I think if I were to be going with an air-ride system I would build my own, modifying D2 coil-overs...
