Is this normal and ok? (Rotors)

I am new to this site but enjoy all the information this site puts out. Everyone seems pretty amazing and I can tell I like cranswick already XD. But anyways.. I've jumped ship from nissan/infinti for mitsubishi and this is my first one.

I picked up a semi stock 2005 Lancer Ralliart 2.4L (5spd) 4g69 engine with 128k miles in November and because of a long work commute(have moved closer just recently) but now has 135k miles. I have plans in the making but for right now I've not done much at all.. It sat in missouri for most of its life so I have no rust really anywhere but my oil pan is pretty much dust.. so that comes first here soon.

I've also noticed the front right wheel bearing needs replaced but i'm having problems finding the wheel hub as well (5 lug.. rears are easy to find but front not as much). Also needs a new valve cover gasket.

But I just did my rear disc brakes and is this normal? the hat of the rotor on the new ones are about a quarter inch more visible.. this normal and ok?

I am trying to make this a nice car and last a long time.. already in love with it. I look forward to making some friends and enjoy this mitsu family

Looks like you have drilled rotors; it's a good thing. keeps them cooler longer. Also Welcome to the world of Mitsubishi.

looks like you are comparing the front to the rear...looks normal to me...the hat on the rear is a little bigger cause there's a drum brake inside it.

also why do you need a hub? wheel bearings are pressed onto the hub...

Yea that looks normal. Dunno what brand those are but they look just like my powerstops when I first installed them.

Anywho welcome to the RA crew! Make a thread with some pics of your car some time!

Yes cranswick I was showing front and rear.. I just didn't know if that hat on the rears was normal like that.. And yea they're powerstops with ceramic pads..

I guess I don't "need" a hub.. But I'm ocd and like replacing things like that when I do my repairs I know I know..lol

Thank you guys

the hub is literally just a piece of metal with a spline for the axle, and holes for the wheel studs...they don't wear out.
