i finally did it.. got the courage to cut my bumper and put on the cap..
last pic b4 facelift, incision marks already drawn
first cut
cuts complete
followed aj's writeup on how to remove the front bumper, took that off and removed the styrofoam
mounted bumper cap with a crapload of 3M doublesided mounting tape, sealed edges with permatex silicone sealant
and we're done!

^ i used the yellow cutting knife u see on the ground in the first pic (before the cuts)
as for painting.. its weird, i actually plasti dipped the piece, but it came out really fuzzy @__@
but i know what u mean.. i might paint it in the future.. though itd be a pain since the way i put it on i dont think i want to remove it (its going to be a REAL pita to do it haha
btw hydro how did u get the tails to be outlined like that and how much did it cost u?
