Evo 9 BOV for Ralliart
A friend of mine gave me a spare Evo 9 BOV. Is there anyway to test this prior to throwing it on my 2011 Ralliart? It looks to be in decent condition but I know he drives his Evos hard.

If you currently have a stock plastic bov, i'm pretty sure the 9 will hold more PSI even if it has a lot of miles. the Metal BOV's really hold up well IMO.
But if you have an air compressor and some adaptors you can test it... or just throw it on the car to test it. Should be super easy sway.

The stock ralliart bov is plastic and known to leak, especially if you up the boost with the GST basemaps as many do.
I would suggest it, I noticed an appreciable difference when I switched, between it being metal instead of plastic and Evos run higher boost than ralliarts so even if the spring is a little weak it should hold more boost than the plastic leaker.
