is the emblem only glued on to the trunk?
hey guys just had a quick question because i wanted to paint my emblem a different color. is the trunk one simply stuck on there with the glue stuff they use or is there screws/prongs that hold it in as well? same question for the front emblem as well. wantde to see if its easier to remove the emblems and spray them or just tape off and spray. thanks

Front glued, back glued, with the exception of the sportback. Has like a screw or something in the back to help hold it on since the curves of the SB are a lil dramatic back there. Remember once you take it off the glue may not stick right back on. Might need to buy some glue. Also use the search function, way too many silly topics like this, that have been covered about a thousand times

Make sure if you're going to put it back on to use 3M tape as mentioned above. Other, cheaper, mounting tape will leave a ridiculous residue on your paint if you ever remove it again.

yep afaik, sportbacks, cannot remove their respective mitsu rear badge, as you will then have a hole in your hatch. Unless you patch it or cover it. That then is up to you!
Also there is a 3m emblem glue if i remember correctly. Its kinda like superglue for emblems, you can also do the 3m thin tape.
