Need help

Ok so i got bored today and decided to install the diy k&n intake. After I was done I did a bone head move. When I was screwing the positive back I accidentally touched the negative with my wrench, it sparked and cracked. My car wont start. My LCD turns on when i open the door but when I try starting my car(going to the second click) my car dies. I tried starting my car a few times when the LCD came on with the door open but it didnt work. After a few times I heard a ticking noise, I popped my hood and the ticking was coming from the fuse box.... i think. Is my car F'ed up or is the battery is messed up with barely any juice?

What he was trying to tell you is to go through all your fuses as there may be a few that might have an impact and if one of them is blown then your car wont start. The obvious ones like starter relay, safety neutral switch, ecu, etc.. Make sure you haven't damaged the battery blown a cell by checking voltage with multi meter. It should read approx 12 to 14 volt DC. If after checking all that and not finding anything then check starter solenoid, beyond that if still not starting you may have blown up part of your electonics or some inline fuse perhaps, but if you get to this point, might be safer to bring to dealer.

Assume the battery is shot. Replace it.

Lift the red cover on the pos battery terminal and visually inspect the three fuses.

Try to start/run the car again.

Let us know how it goes.

I suspect the battery is the only issue. You 'only' shorted the battery - fortunately, not connected/jumped with the leads reversed and zapped the computer, etc...

Hey not sure if you got to read my post on Clubralliart since Hitler decided to take away my freedom of speech.
If your trying to put your car into neutral do thing
1) put the key into the "on" position
2) press the break
3) put the car into the neutral
4) move your car where you want

This. We see this all the time when people short/connect backwards to jumpers. The fuse(s) right at the positive terminal like to pop
