UR Test Pipe Install SES
So a few weeks back I Installed the UR testpipe. SES light came on later that day as expected. The following day I upgraded to the latest basemap for TBE +.
I followed craks instructions from here to disable the rear o2:
http://www.clubralliart.com/showthre...?t=3535&page=3
Am now getting three codes:
U0100
P1871
P0140 (2)
From what I understand, the first two are normal when flashing and the third is a "no activity" detection for the rear o2, which is expected.. right?
Here's my problem, in craks post #23, he's saying to disable these two misc DTC's.. I am able to do that no problem with the P0139 bit when I attempt to disable the P0140 I get a message "the current map descripton is invalid or incomplete please edit map description"
I've seen this could be due to having old ROM, but I've download the latest ROM definition from goldenevo and placed in the right directory (i think)
If anyone can shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated. That SES light annoys the ff out of me..

So crak PM'd me.. but hasn't replied since.
"Yeah those first two codes are normal when flashing. For the P140 bit, what year is your car? The hex code for that bit could be incorrect and maybe that's why u get that error. See if you can fix the map description and try again."
Does anyone know what he means by "fix the map description"?
The RA is a 2012.

I had the SES light for a year before trying some Steel Wool. I bought some from Walmart (in the paint section) and put a little bit into the spacer and put the sensor back in and have not had the SES light come on after 1000+ miles. Worth a shot
Also disabling the rear O2 can damage the unit if it is still plugged in, because you disable the heating element in it.

Thanks for the replies all...
I'm not to worried about destroying the sensor. I don't need emissions testing where my car is registered.
I haven't been able to try anything with the car lately, been super busy. I have a reason to believe ECU Flash is pulling an EVO rom (i'll post some screen shots to show why I think this when I get a chance).
I'm going to try getting latest from Golden EVO and removing every XML (except the RA ROM fr Golden EVO) from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo
This should ensure the right file gets pulled, right?

I'm attaching a few screen shots below of what I'm seeing. I can go to "Edit Map Definition" as you can see in the dropdown.. but don't know what to make changes to
This is taken from the task info pane... does it look right?
"[09:31:36.408] 58030005 (161 tables) inheriting evo10base (320 tables)

Progress. No Longer getting the "Invalid or Incomplete" message after uninstalling/Updating ECU Flash/Drivers/Firmware.. Now when I select the 0140 Misc DTC the box comes up with this code. No disable or enable??
