What is the highest MPG achieved on your Ralliart?
I took a leisurely drive today all the way from Toronto to Lake Simcoe. No real destination in mind, just out enjoying the good weather and the setting sun. I managed to hit the highest MPG I've personally achieved in the Ralliart. Didn't think that cracking 30mpg was even possible in this car. I took mostly side roads with speeds between 60-80km/h (40-50 mph). What's your personal best mpg in the Ralliart? Got any tips?

I've hit ~32mpg taking HWY 7 from Oshawa to Ottawa. Same as you, 90-100km/h. Really surprised me that the RA was capable of hitting numbers like that given the weight and AWC system being always active. If I hypermile though, I can get ~38mpg though things get alittle dicey at that point.

I think around 25 sadly...I should really change the display so it shows the avg MPG, not how many miles I have left before I have to fill up lol. Currently, I'm trying to log the miles to determine how far I can get per fill up.

Haha, that's awesome. I actually thought the computer glitched out or something. I tried driving even slower today but got worse mpg.
I guess 60-100km or 40 - 80miles really is a sweet spot. At a slower speed and the mass of the car start to decrease fuel efficiency. Maintaining the momentum really helps. Newtonian physics in action I guess. I wish I paid more attention back in school.
On the highway, forget it. Peer pressure man. Gotta go fast like all the cool kids.
I tried the "miles till I have to fill up" screen for a while but it felt depressing to me, like a doom's day clock or something. the mpg screen is like a video game, I love making the green bar shoot to the far right. Probably annoy the heck out of the drivers behind me though.
Now I actually want to figure out the algorithm they use to calculate the fuel efficiency. Anyone got any idea?

In my experience, the mileage computer is wildly optimistic. On my 22 mile drive to work according to the computer I get 30mpg, On my way home about 25mpg (more traffic). Since this is my commuter car only used for the same 22 mile drive Monday though Friday, I should be averaging 330 miles on about 12 gallons of gas. Sadly, I average about 260-270 miles per tank. I have been keeping records since day 1 (three years ago) and my overall mileage has been 22.578mpg with 95% of that being the same drive to/from work. My all-time best was 26.796mpg when I went 333.5 miles on 12.446 gallons of the finest 91 octane gas available in California, I did have to keep it under 55 mph the whole week, it was not fun. So while I always try get the highest mpg possible, I know the numbers are very inaccurate.
Also, with such an easy life you'd think my maintenance intervals would be long. After each service my maintenance countdown starts at 12,000 miles and 12 months or something like that but it often just resets or something and tells me it's time for a service. I bought the car new and two months later at 1600 miles, I needed a service. The dealer even said it's too soon but whatever, I obey the car. Since the last service on March 4, 2014, I've driven less than 5000 miles and the maintenance reminder now tells me it's time for a service. How did that happen????

Haha, That's awesome, I need to go for the lowest mpg possible now that I completed my high mpg experiment.
Sadly, my two week's worth of experiment confirms Faster345's conclusion in that the mpg reader in the car is not very accurate as in that it's overly optimistic.
I tested using the volume of gas inputted versus the distance traveled method for two weeks over two rounds of full tank of gas.
I am sure that there are reasons as to why it might be off but on the whole, the conclusion says that actual mpg is always going to be lower than what the mpg reader reads.
Welp, that's the end of that.

The best mine shows on the optimistic display is 23 avg and that is almost all highway. I have the GST boost pill map. I am about to get the TBE map and throw on the EVO X intercooler setup. I hoped to do better than what I am getting. Have any of you guys that are showing such high mpgs tweaked on the base maps or are you just running them as is?
