Removed all of the "sound-deadening" tar paper sheets from under the carpet, under the rear seat, and under the spare tire.

Weight removed: 16.6. lbs

Removed all of the carpet padding and insulation betwen the carpet and floorpan.

Weight removed: 5.8 lbs

Holy crap, right? And it honestly doesn't sound any louder and there aren't any more noticeable rattles than before. If I never told you it was gone, you'd never know the difference.

Total weight lost from this project: 22.4 lbs

Next project, de-looming the car and removing unused wiring harnesses and connectors...

I replaced my oem 18x7et46 215/45 nexen 3000 wheels with rays 57c gram lights 17x8.5et37 235/40 federal 595 and they came in at 16.6kg

bc coilovers listed above match my results saving roughly 2kg per corner
