Sorry that was really meant for richardjh, just trying to impart that a high spring rate doesn't necessarily mean poor ride quality, and that it's all relative.

Bring it on, can't wait. This combo is desperately needed. Thanks NFS.

Yes, actually. I hope to have the whole setup done by the time Boost for ***** rolls around. The springs will be either 360/300 or 480/400 (I will speak to an engineer once they get there about recommended settings). I have removed the stock springs from the suspension components that I have and am wrapping them today and tomorrow for shipment. Once they come back, they will go with the old components to Koni for reconstruction. At the very latest, this will be done on November 18th. If I have to work overnight on the 19th to have them up and running on the 20th for Auto-X, so be it.

If all goes according to plan, there will be two Ralliarts at B4B running this setup. I will post coverage from that event, when it happens. Maybe I could have like a Black Friday "Super Sale" or something after that. We shall see.

Sorry I haven't been glued to this thread. Are you also doing a strut upgrade with the new springs?

Which companies are you working with?

Koni will be making the shocks/struts. The spring are being made by Hyperco. You can look them up. They make springs for damn near everything.

LOL I wish that I wielded the power to have Yellows made. We will have to wait and see what Koni comes up with. If the powers that be decide to start construction of Yellows in the future, that would be great. For now, these will be custom made pieces designed from the original components.

Thread resurrection. I know you've moved on from the RA NFS, but did any action ever occur on the Koni and Hyperco front?

The springs have been made. I never did anything with them. Someone told me that it would likely be cheaper to have the stockers re-valved, so I didn't bother.

Ouch. Well, I guess I'm going for BCs or something since I can't find anyone locally to do revalves.

This really is good advice, you'll be riding on what feels like nothing, and you'll feel every bump the road has to offer you.
