Pull fenders? 255/40R17 on 17x9 +35

I looked the "Official Wheels/Tires/Stance PHOTO and Spec Thread", compared what I wanted to other people's setups, and I've done the calculations.

I ordered 1 wheel and 1 tires to test fit.
Tire is Continental ExtremeContact DW
I am lowered on Eibach Sportline Kit.

But now I'm having 2nd thoughts b/c of the large amount of poke the tire has.
It clears the suspension @ full lock, but the amount the tire sticks out concorns me.

Do other people have this amount of poke ?

Will a little bit of camber/Eibach Camber Kit fix this poke?
Is it possible to go to an alignment shop and have them put some camber on the front to clear the fender more ?

I've seen people do fender flares, 255 is really wide for our cars. Check out: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...php?p=11014044.

Yeah 255 is just too much. I was running 245/40 on the Pro-Kit with a slight poke and I just wasnt liking the stance so Im goin lower on Tein. Im switching to 225/40 on an 18x8.75 wheel and will run a slight negative camber to have everything flush.

Most of the poke is from the roundness of the tire's sidewall being a taller 17" tire.
I think if you went 18x9+35 wheel with a lower profile tire (245 40 18) you would of had less poke.

You would have less poke mainly because you're running a narrower tire (245 vs. 255) rather than a smaller sidewall.

255 40 on a 9" rim is a sloppy ride.

I think he meant to say 255 35. Much nicer fit, I run 255 35 on 9" FN0CR1 +35 with a decent drop and minimal rubbing at full lock
