Question Duralast brake issues

I got some duralast pads a few weeks back, and have gone through 3 pairs of rear pads already. The pads don't wear, but the metal retainers on the outboard pads bend and gold and they want stay in the caliper. I was just curious if anyone else was having this issue. I decided to try anywear pads from advance last night. Will update of issue continues

Is it possible you are switching the inboard and outboard pads?

I'm confused on what you're trying to say

I interpreted what he means as "the low pad indicator metal tab does not fit in the caliper properly..."

(that is why I think he has the pads backward)

I was posting to see if anybody has issues with the pad retainers on the outboard pads from duralast. I switched to anywears from advance and so far no issue. The post was also kind of a warning in case anybody else had the issue with duralast pads.

I've used duralast before on other cars with no issues with the clips. If they're snug they're snug its fine at least I know they wont fall out. I just use some screw drivers to pry them out when I need to remove them and they work just fine.

Strange they dont wear. Are your lines bled and your pads bedded once you finish the brake job?

I've used duralast on other cars before and not had issues, but it's fixed now so maybe my car just didn't like them
