There's a write up on it somewhere. You don't do every option just some of them. Hold in let me see if I can find the ones you need to do. Also the engine needs to be running when you do it. The boost teach in is kinda scary because the motor revs over 4k rpm but just keep the break pressed and you'll be ok lol.
I will watch for it!

I just uploaded the VIN writing files into the SST Support files directory.
SST Support Files
(6) VIN Writing
In order to execute VIN Writing, the following support files
need to be installed
(i) CBF file
CBF file is a database file for VIN Writing with “.cbf” as its
file extension.
Install the CBF file in the following path
Local Disk\Program Files\PassThruCAN\DiagDB\CBF
(ii) VWPart file
VWPart file is a vehicle information file with “.vwpart” as its
file extension.
Install the VWPart file in the following path
Local Disk\Program Files\PassThruCAN\DiagDB\XML
Only one VWPart must exist in the folder. When the
previous VWPart file exists, please delete the file and
install only 1 VWPart file for the target vehicle.

Did 2 runs after flashing the B151 on my 2010 RA, here are my observations:
In S-sport mode, auto will shift well into the 7k+ RPM range, shifts are sloppy, no good for butt dyno, when I shifted it manually and try to do it before 7k RPM, the shifts are much better and car pulls much harder, my question would be:
Are there some issues with the Ralliart at shift points greater than 7k on s-sport? Is it because the ECU tables do not exist well past 7K? High RPM shifting and grabbing is just garbage on my car, 5-7k range works very well. Thanks.

It's not that the shift points suck. It's because your turbo can't give you that kick like you experience at lower RPMs. A bigger turbo makes for a huge difference.

Which leads me to believe lowering the actual auto shift points would make a snappier car, my power band is strongest between 5-6.5k and falls off like a truck beyond that. Are you able to alter shift points in your development process so far?
#142
The shift points in my car are altered to a point where it shifts slightly lower and it's set between 5900 and 6400 RPM. It was accomplished using the ECU mods that I've been testing as opposed to the TCU changes. There are still issues where it will rev hang occasionally at the top of the band but that is dependent on the temperature of the TC-SST. If it's running cooler it shifts higher and when it's hotter it shifts lower. It's still being worked on but we know the problems.

When I follow the directions to do the s-sport install. I can use the Pass Thru CAN program to read the TCU information. Then after I get all that and get the proper files to flash over to complete the install when I click the PassThru CAN Flash button the screen just flashes and returns back to the main screen. It does not show the next screens like it shows in the instructions. Did I install the program incorrectly?
I'm running windows 7 64bit and installed it via the instructions in the PDF file changing the registry and what not to get it installed correctly in the regular c:/Program Files folder instead of it going to the c:/Program Files (x86) folders.

Very good read and very interesting. Some pages gave me a whoops error so I will review this again later on a laptop. Please continue to release updates about your fixes. I wonder of there is someone in the NY are that has successfully did this and could help me as I'm a little too scared to do it on my own.

So I finally got to read the whole thread and most of the how to guide. I like how the guide is very simple to follow. However, I am new to Mitsubishi's and the TC-SST. Plus I am till new to the actual tuning portion of modding. So is there anyone in the NY area or tristate area that has successfully done this that could help me out so I don't F this up on my own lol. It's my DD so I don't have the confidence not to mess something up lol.

Emma,
We have the files available https://drive.google.com/folderview?...DQ&usp=sharing here.
B151 is the TCU software. (TC-SST)
The ECU ROM Software would be different depending on your year/make/model vehicle.
