PS Pressure Switch

Quick background, Getting code P0551 (PS Pressure Switch Circuit/Performance). I have tried cleaning the connector to no avail. Looking at used pumps to replace. First question, do Ralliarts and Evo X's share the same pump. I read somewhere that it was thought that they do but I can not for the life of me find that thread again. Second, the pressure switch looks as if it can be removed and replaced. Couldn't I buy a used pump and swap the switch on the back to save myself some time? Has anyone ever had an issue like this?

When I googled the code it said:
http://www.engine-codes.com/p0155_mitsubishi.html

Which is for Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2 Sensor 1...

So what exactly is the problem you are having? Steering or MIL?

I am very sorry. I miss typed the code. The correct code is P0551. The steering works perfect. The code comes and goes as it pleases. I have cleaned the connector on the back of the pump. I am starting to think that the switch is actually going bad. Do you know if the pumps between the RA and X are the same?

If the steering is fine and is just a faulty switch - I would just ignore it and keep driving...

As to your question - I don't know. I "think" they are common - but I can't prove it.
