the install is a little more complex, therefore there are more ways to do it incorrectly. I like that the lc-1 is a tad more accurate. I got a great deal on mine and it came with an XD-16 guage which is a pretty sweet peice.

the logworks software is wonderfull too.

You guys know that Evoscan can log almost all of the widebands on the market, right? Al you need to do is pick up and R-232 connector from Radioshack, and wire it to the two that exist for that purpose. Dont need to run multiple softwares!

^Or better yet turn off the rear O2, splice your WB into its signal, and log w/o needing another cable running around the car

You mean to cut off the rear sensor, and splice the wideband sensor into the existing wires, in essence destroying two perfectly good sensors? And what do you do for a gauge?

Those are Autometer pods that were picked up from ExtremePSI. Just have to drill two small holes in your steering column cover and use the self taping screws that comes in the package to secure the pods.

The gauge is just for looks anyways. Also how does it "destroy" the o2 sensor but cutting the wires? You can splice them back with ease. To me thats a great idea, widebands are for logging not looks.

This surely qualifies as quote of the week. If the car is off the engine isn't running ergo there is no exhaust, no exhaust nothing to measure.

Personally I think and wideband that measured AF ratio with the car off is crap.

I just installed mine. I found it to be much harder than i expected. The main reason why is because my bung is located on top of midpipe right before the cat. My question is "somebody please explain to me what is too rich, too lean and ok. All I see is just random numbers flashing in front of me. Thanks.

id say below 9 is too rich, above 12.5 is too lean, perfect combustion is 14.7, when ur cruising and idle your afr range should be around 14.5-15.5
