PIAA bulbs installed - lots of pics
Sorry for all the pictures, but I figure someone probably wants to see a few examples before buying. I took a couple different kinds of shots.
So I picked up a couple different replacement bulbs by PIAA:
PIAA 13511 H11 Plasma Ion Crystal Yellow 55w Fog Lamps
PIAA 10926 9006 (HB4) Xtra Intense white 51w Low Beams
PIAA 19172 168 Extreme White Wedges
Here's a comparison between the PIAA lowbeam (driver side) and the stock bulb (passenger side):
Here's what it looks like with both sides installed:
I bought the wedge bulbs to stick in my side markers, to replace the amber bulbs there. Turns out that these side markers appear sealed. I'm not sure if it's worth baking them to get the bulbs out...anyone got any idea?

Bulbs look really good. Quite the diff over the stock bulbs. I plan on getting a set of the Piaa Plasma Ion Yellow for my fogs also. I got a set of the Piaa white parking lights for the corner of the headlights and much prefer them over the stock amber ones. I wanted to also put white bulbs in my sidemarkers when I had my GTS but didn't want to mess with having to bake my side markers then sealing them back up. Kinda PITA I think

Yeaaaahh. So, when I order my books for this semester's classes from Amazon, I'm going to "Sneak in" a set of those bulbs...If I get caught by the wapce I'm blaming you.
Those look awesome. Made me decide that I'm going to order some this evening! (Along with my school books, )

I bought mine from Amazon as well...they even offered free 2-day shipping if I signed up for a trial month of Amazon Prime. Just don't forget to cancel before 30 days or you'll be charged for a year.
The PIAA bulbs were a bit pricey, but worth the peace of mind knowing they won't melt anything.

I've been an Amazon Prime member for 2 years now lol, $79/year isn't bad for me cause I buy off of Amazon a lot. Cheaper in the long run, free 2-day 2.99 1-day isn't bad either.
Glad to hear that the bulbs wont melt anything.
I've heard stories from guys with aftermarket/HID fogs that melted their plastic covers...
Looking forward to installing the bulbs come Monday
