clicking noise under hood when car turned off

the same clicking noise that happens when you turn the ignition to the on position without starting the car. fuel pump or something? anyways, it has now started happening when i shut my car off after driving for awhile. it doesnt happen everytime, it has happened 2 times out of the last 5 drives. it doesnt just do the clicking noise once like when you turn the car on, it will do it every 3 secs for about 20-30 times. anyone run into this yet??

turn signal? but seriously there should be no sound when you turn off the car(fan is ok). maybe the sound of oil dripping down into the pan. the sound before you turn it on is ok.

its not the signal and its not oil dripping. Every evo x makes the noise when you turn your key to "ON" on the ignition (without turning the car over and actually starting it) its a click click click noise.

The Evo X turbo kit will happen. Some serious delays with casting, these things happen on occasion.

That is the throttle body. You're fine.

Today I started a 5 speed X and listened to the sounds you guys are talking about. Definitely not what I am hearing with the SST.

yeah at least now you know which sound im talking about The only thing that concerned me is after shutting off the car after driving, it would keep doing that click click click on and off for about 20 times before it would finally stop. It has only done it a few times now. Is that normal?
