Clutch : ACT or Competition Clutch (CC)?

Hi,

Was wondering if I could get some help/opinions comparing the ACT-HDSS vs CompetitionClutch Stage 3 Street/Strip Series 2300 Segmented Kevlar kit. Never came across reviews about the CC kits so far.

Am fitting in my 2nd set of ACT and am just placing orders for some spares including clutch kit.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

Thanks guys

ACT FTW - Loving mine currently. I dont think CC has the reputation or the backing that ACT does

What about Exedy stage 2?

I'm looking for something that won't slip under 480 torque, but doesn't grab so hard like it wants to break something and has as close to a stock feel as possible.

Exedy Twin Disk. Bottom line. Expensive, but worth and will be the last clutch you'll buy.

Exedy Stage 2 feels nothing like stock. It's roughly equivalent in feel to an ACT HDG6. IMO, too grabby for a daily-driven street car, especially if you sit in traffic.

ill post up a full review on the CCI stage 3 hopefully here within a month. i plan to have her broken in within the week i put it on (just from missing being able to be in full boost). i have the stock clutch as it stands and with 29.5k on the odo and 330whp with a strictly accounted for 32 launches, im hoping the CCI will hold up. they are very convinced that it will.

We will be testing the comp stage 3 in Shawnas car soon. Once we do I am sure you will be able to read about it in her STMX thread.
