Any vibration issues that are common with aftermarket shafts?

I would love to get one. Just don't have the cash, I'll have to wait for now.

I wonder why the factory did 2 shafts if one is better and possible...also, its not like it was cheaper as it has twice the parts almost. Another thing is this fully balanced ? There are balancing weights on the factory shaft thats why i ask.

Eric,

Sick piece. From someone who has had the driveshaft in arm on numerous occasions, a CF piece that weighs 8 lbs is insane. Good point too about people concerned with rotational mass of wheels and whatnot, getting aftermarket ones for 2 lbs of savings, when this rotates so much faster than the wheels and saves about 20 pounds. Glad to hear its available for the Evo. Once I get my turbo done, this'll be the next mod. Keep us posted on how it goes on your car.

When is something like this needed or recommended? Is this more for a drag racing set-up?

This is not a drag race specific piece. if you see in my orignial post Torqline has these runnign in some pretty serious road race event. Lemans, GT etc This is a piece that will benefit whatever evo it happens to be installed on.
