e85 and pump/meth is practically the same
Everything that I have seen/read says e85 is better than pump/meth, at least for the questionable pump gas we have up here in WA (which is actually better than some places).

I'm not sure if you're referring to me. I'm looking forward to seeing your graph

I agree those #'s for 34psi falling to 30 on a dynojet are weak if it was a mustang then it would be good unless your on a stock motor

I think those are great numbers for a stock block! I wouldn't want to push to much more than that if your using this as you DD. Congrats man!

My mod list is not all that in-depth. Stock block, stock head, stock transmission, etc. Graph is up, take a look.

Injectors could have been a limiting factor, but the numbers are low for that boost level. Stock motor or not. My stock motor just got an fpred, put it on the dyno and first pull made 427 on 22 psi, turned the boost up and it made 475 on the next pull at 28 psi, 10.9-11.0 afr without tuning. Either way I am sure It is a blast to drive, numbers are not everything, my car went 10.7 @ 128 with 460 on a dynojet. Congrats.

cams can be your limiting factor, HKS cams are mild cams at best. I have the same cams but got them 4 years ago before most of these custom grinds came out (didn't know any better), HKS 272's are deff a limiting factor in my setup as well.

Thanks for the graph wannarace. I like how the torque curve hits between 3000 - 4000 and just keeps going! Your numbers are right in the range I would like to be so hopefully with meth I'll get close. Have fun, and looking forward to 1/4 times

IDC was fine, the 1050's were not limiting any power. I don't know the percentage but I did ask Chris if they limited my power while the car was still strapped down and he said not at all.

Chris also told me that the cams could be holding back some power but that is not something I feel like changing at this point in time. Just like Nez said, I added them wayy back in '04 maybe, when HKS were really the only ones out there. I know I could grab a lot more power with some FP4 or FP5R's but that is not in the near future.

e85 is indeed far superior to pump and meth. But many places still dont have e85 so its the next best thing other then over priced race gas.
