Everyone needs to remember that places that sell E85 in areas that see cold winters (Denver & Chicago are on the same schedule), actually sell at least three different grades of the fuel depending on the time of year, E70 in October-April, E85 in July and August, and somewhere inbetween in the other months. I found a place in Denver that blends thier own E85 from E98 and 85 octane year round. Once true E85 season comes around you'll see people's numbers tick up a bit more.

Thanks guys. I'm not upset with my numbers at all actually. I want to be at a certain ET and if next weekend doesn't turn it up, then I guarantee the mod bug will bite again. Til then, whp is just a number to me.

I've seen an IX with similar mods, stock cams, single walbro, and PTE 1000's make 425 at 34 psi with E85 on a Dyno Dynamics. Given that there's another local shop in town with a DynoJet that reads approximately 12% higher, which puts him into the 475 range on their dyno.

I would say that 458 on AMS's dyno is pretty much right on.

That's some good power!

Bump from the dead!

The best time this car put down in the 1/4 mile was an 11.4 @ 126 with a 1.8x 60 foot. I know it's got more in it and the cams are definitely holding this car back. Looking into GSC S3 and some head work this summer in order to top 500 and make solid 10s. Mod bug bit me again after 4 years
