Does the oil drain back thru the system into the sump pan, if the car is left for a few weeks?

I've seen many older D/S systems do this, then needing to be pumped out before starting.

Yes, over time it will drain a little oil back into the sump pan. If your car is going to be sitting for awhile then I would recommend disconnecting the crank sensor and cranking the car over a couple of times to get the oil back into the system.

Yes, you would gain an additional 4-5 inches of clearance over the stock pan.

With the included oil tank mount you must have had thoughts about the mounting position of the tank??

You can mount the tank anywhere in the car. It can be mounted in the trunk, the back seat area, in the front passenger side seat area, in front of the passenger side front wheel behind the bumper. It can be mounted pretty much any where in the car. This is the reason for not including lines and fittings because every application will be different and the mounting will be different.

Granted, but I think what we're asking, combined with the "installed pics" request, is where did YOU guys install it? Give us an idea, doesn't matter state said "test car" was in, we're visual learners

When we tested and used this system is was for our top shop motor. We have not installed this kit into a vehicle here yet. Here are some pictures of the reservoir being mounted in front of the passenger side tire behind the front bumper. This will give you an idea of how the setup will be mounted. This was a kit that is similar to ours.

This kit seems not to be on sale anymore. Is there an updated link or should we go other brands? Tx.
