Running review of AWD Motorsports

So I've planned my tune a month or so ago when I knew I'd have some stuff on the car. Since AWD Motorsports sponsors the forums AND they're local, I figured it's a solid place to go...not to mention their cars that go stupid fast.

Spoke with Shaun and scheduled my tune for this Friday the 10th. This was, again, around a month ago. Today, Shaun calls me and asks if I'm still good to go for my appointment. MY DOCTOR DOESN'T EVEN DO THIS! So a brownie point for AWD already.

I take the car up there and I don't have a ride back since my wife is at work. Shaun says, "No sweat" and one of his guys (Marlon I believe) ships me off to Enterprise which was rad...I used my points so the rental was about $25. Brownie point number two.

As I'm talking to the guys at AWD, I have a few issues I wanted to address...For one, my exhaust was rubbing on the subframe. I'm tired, beat, and just don't want to mess with it anymore so I asked if they could check it out. I also hadn't installed my Grimmspeed 3-port, no worries...we got you no charge. Granted, it's a simple install but I just don't want to do it!

THEN...He tells me I should have my car back tomorrow...WHOA! Sweet!

So far so good and the guys seem like a good group of folks. Even if the car isn't finished tomorrow, I'm not worried. With a GT-R, and half a dozen Evo's at the shop, I feel that it's in good hands.

So far so good...I'm seeing mega A+ coming from them.

Well...It's official. AWD will be my Evo shop from here on out.

Not only did they have the car ready for me TODAY....it runs like a dream, albeit louder than 2 cats humping in a pillow case.

I have no idea of the people's names but everything was smooth. Turns out I had the exhaust hangers on upside down for the rear section -- ooops. So that was causing the rubbing issue.

Derek tuned the car and while there are DynoJet naysayers, I'm not too concerned with the power...Just happy with the drivability. It made 360/367 so I'm content.

Thanks a TON AWD Motorsports.

My experience with shopping from them was also positive, as mentioned they communicate very well. That is rare for mechanics other than the dealer that has receptionists calling.

This was just online(I was emailing them though and they reply in good time), but if they offer services for the evo I would honestly guess that they are on top of things, just from the way they run their business, I can tell that they know how important customer satisfaction is.

It's rare for me to throw compliments around, so consider this a special occasion AWD MOTORSPORTS .
