Monthly: $166 ( Both cars and wife included, I won't let her drive the Evo lol )
Record: 1 point left on my licence + a few crashes, responsible and not :P
Deductible : 500$
Options: Full Coverage ( Valeur à neuf )

i'm with primimum which is a division of the Tri group know as
TD, Meloche monnex, Primimum
i pay 1022.78 a year including my renters insurrance with a SAIT alumni discount (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology /polytechnic) I'm not a doctor or engineer however i'm a journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter.
also have a 43R full replacement value up to two years. full coverage, fire, vandalism etc etc 500 deductible with no windsheild coverage.. our winshields are dirt cheap.

I work for Intact insurance so I get the staff price. I don't get the FULL discount yet because I've only had my licence for 3 years and because you get that until your turn 25

I think the insurance companies rape you on purpose if you live in the GTA. I did a quote, moving from my home's postal code to my work's postal code, my home's costed 100 bucks more.
I would try kanetix.ca to see the average prices for your car and address. If they are cheaper, move, if not stay.

Options: 0 deductible, full vehicle replacement for up to 12 months, (i.e. if car is totaled, stolen, or written off in any way they replace it with a brand new 2012/13 one or cash equivalent)
by far far far the best company I found. I cannot express how much better they were than all the other companies. was 19 when I bought the car, every company wanted 800$ A MONTH minimum. no one was below that. I wouldn't have been able to afford this car if I hadn't got this rate from dominion
highly highly recommend if you are a 5 star or above driver. (they don't look at you if you don't have at least 5 stars.)
