Tuned on open source but want to installed V3
I purchase an Evo x with a open source tuned on e85. I want to installed a v3 to monitor my car. I also want to get a re-tune and run dual maps on my v3.

My question is, if I installed a v3 would it erase my current open source map?

Anything you load into the ECU overwrite the code that is already in there. You can always take a copy of your previous tune before you load new maps.

Damn that sucks. I just want to use my v3 for monitoring until I get a custom tune.

save your current rom. copy/paste values into v3 rom. flash v3 rom. done.
