Wow that's an extremely impressive trap speed for the 1/8 mile, you have a very powerful IX there.

1.890 60'
8.39 1/8 ET
85.52 1/8 MPH

My best 60' of the night was 1.807

I ran consistent 8.40 - 8.60, slowest was a 8.8

Guess it's time for a flash to try to get down to a 7.99...

I ran a 7.97 @ 84 mph. You should get into the 7's with the way your car sits. You just need to gett he 60fts. down a little more. Nice MPH for sure.

Amazingly fast for stock (trap), but the ET is very slow for the speed, so I'd work on driving before worrying about mods. Corey gave you a good reference et/mph, but here is mine:

Stock 05 first run = 8.4@80 (same et, but 5.5mph slower) on a 1.92 60' (worse than yours). This was a 13.17@103.89 1/4.
SAFC only mod = 8.0@84 on a 1.76 60' (still not nearly as fast as 85.5mph). This was a 12.8@106.3.

Your car is fast - now make the driver fast.

I think his car is pretty strong as is...What he really needs is a driver's mod and get that 60' down. 85mph on a stock IX is impressive. That's on pump gas (93oct) correct?

Race gas wouldn't have helped much if at all on a bone stock car.

Very impressive trap for a stock car. 45 degree weather must be nice.

Its gonna be in the low 50's here on Friday. I'm hoping to drop my ET's and maybe raise my MPH a little as well.
