I ran two 9.5 passes. I was having issues with 4th gear all day. I had to short shift and granny shift 3rd gear at about 7k rpm in order to get her in gear. Sucks...but worked.

I'm pulling everything apart this weekend and will look it over. I'll be back at it soon enough. I have some big plans coming this winter.

Are you guys going out to Evo vs STI day at E-town? I believe it is Sept. 22.. They have usually been lenient on the cage situation at that event..
I actually have a bachelor party that weekend ! I'm hoping it gets pushed to October for a rain date or something.

Had an awesome time...

Me and my fellow racers traveled from Puerto Rico for this event, and were not disappointed. No rain, great fellow racers, got to meet David Buschur and John Shepherd. I have tons of photos, and videos will be posted in the upcoming days. Please feel free to look up VR4 Tuning on facebook and comment and/or tag yourselves on pictures or videos since I captured many of the participants but do not know you personally. Thanks to all that made it there, will most likely see you next year.

Best shootout to date, and that was my 10th one. Thanks again Dave and SMP for putting it all together. I like the 3 day format too. I ended up #2 qualifier but couldn't continue. The wheelie on Saturday and the 8.23 pass on Wednesday took away some of the pain at least. I'm booked for next year at the sausagelodge as usual.

Some of my favorite pics:
