Flyin Banana goes 8.9s testing a GTX4088R mated to a stock location manifold
After setting a new record back in March for stock appearing turbos with the GTX3582R, the car seemed like it wanted more so we took it to our local import event this weekend at Sacramento to test a new combo. The GTX4088R bolted to the same Toxic Fab manifold made for stock turbos.
First pass off the trailer we go 8.90@153 hitting the rev limiter before crossing the traps resulting in the low mph. Raised the rev limiter higher and decided to skip the second qualifier. The 8.90 was good for the #1 spot so we get a bye in round 1. Round 2 we run a 9.11@159 spinning 1st and 2nd but it was good enough for the win. Round 3 we get a decent launch and go 8.96@157 to win the class. All 3 passes were done on 42 psi so I cant wait to see what it can run on 45+ psi.
